Catalystpay Payment Gateway FIX

Description project:

The current payment gateway plugin, responsible for processing debit and credit card transactions, is causing significant issues during customer payments. When a transaction fails, users are incorrectly redirected to the “thank you” page with an error message. Despite this, they have a “Pay” button to retry the transaction. However, upon redirection to the checkout/order-pay page, the plugin fails to display the necessary payment popup for re-entering card details, and instead automatically attempts the payment again without user confirmation.

A second critical issue arises when a retry is successful. Even when the transaction goes through, customers are still shown an error message on the “thank you” page, indicating failure. In addition, WooCommerce does not recognize the successful payment on the backend, leading to orders being sent to the trash instead of being marked as “processing.”

This project aims to address these issues to ensure seamless transaction handling and accurate order status tracking in WooCommerce.
